Life Update! First Quarter of 2022!

Life is great, what can I say! I have been incredibly busy creating music, teaching lessons, and trying to make more of my income music based, and it’s working! So needless to say, I have been very busy getting all my ducks in a row!

Regarding music, I am teaching and playing more than ever before. A lot of those have been sought out by me, and I am so happy to see that my hard work is paying off. I have 7 private students right now and am going to start talking to more music stores to fill out my Monday and Tuesdays with more students! I LOVE teaching private lessons! Performing is going well, too. I am still playing every Friday and Saturday down in Schaumburg, and that is just a gift and I love being there. I hd a gig on Easter that I orchestrated, and it went okay. I got really nervous and didn’t play as well as I wanted, but hey! Now I know where I need to focus my practice. I am so excited to start my rigorous practice routine up again and start auditioning. This is my year, I can feel it!

The animals are doing well! Aiden went to the ER Vet in March for food bloat because he ate so much food his stomach expanded so much that he looked like a little ball. Poor baby! I didn’t realize how serious food bloat was and that their stomachs can flip, and they can die! So glad we caught it in time and he is all happy now. Herbie has developed a food allergy and we are trying to figure out what it is that he is allergic to by cooking his food from scratch and isolating different protein groups. He went to the vet on Tuesday and they said that we are doing the right thing by cutting out the proteins one at a time, and she said that chicken was the most popular food allergy in dogs. Right now we are feeding him beef and his allergies are under control! Cora and Milo are doing well, too! Cora lost a whole pound and I have them on all their preventative meds so now they can come outside with me once the weather is a little better! So happy! The birdies are also doing great! They are so healthy and happy. I give them fresh food and spinach everyday, they have a small water fountain to play in and lots of plants to chew and rummage around in. Everyone is all good :).

My husband and I are also doing well and happier than ever. Having a partner that loves and supports you is such an amazing feeling. He encourages me to follow my dreams, and when things don’t go as planned, he is always there rooting for me and helping me get back on track. He’s the reason I still have this blog and why I am motivated to continue sharing parts of my life with the internet.

Things are going well, and I am proud of the work that we have been doing as a couple and individuals. I have a couple of cool projects and accomplishments that I am still working on, and I am excited to share progress soon.

I hope that you are having a great year, too and that you take time to do the things you love. If you want, share some cool things that you are proud of! ❤️
